False Prophets & Elijah (MA40)

   'Great Tribulation – 5th Seal'

Mat 24:24  For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."
At the end of the period of grace, all Israel will be saved. So before the rapture, Satan will destroy as many Jews as possible. No wonder that though the Jews number by the tens of millions, only a remnant will be saved.
Rom 9:27  Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved."

Rev 14:9a  Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation."
At the dedication of the temple of God the Antichrist will manage to deceive the Jewish priesthood to bow down and worship him seated on the Ark. So when the Jews see the Jewish priesthood and lying wonders, many Jews will worship the Antichrist on TV, thus resulting to them being condemned to eternal damnation.

Mal 4:5  "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord."
So Elijah must come before that great and dreadful day of the Lord. This dreadful day was fulfilled when our Lord Jesus was crucified by the Jews, who condemned themselves and their descendants for shedding the innocent blood of the Son of God. Unfortunately, this dreadful day is wrongly interpreted by most theologians as rapture – the day of the Lord.
Mat 27:24-25  When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all... saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it." And all the people (Jews) answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children."

Elijah has already come
Mal 4:6  "And he (Elijah) will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the
children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."
Before that dreadful day, Elijah must come back to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers.
Luke 1:16-17  "And he (John the Baptist) will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."
This was fulfilled by the coming of John the Baptist as Elijah and confirmed again and again by our Lord Jesus.
Mat 11:13-14  "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come."
Mat 17:12a  "But I say to you that Elijah has come already,..."

Rom 11:25  For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
The Jews are blind until the rapture, for they are still waiting for Elijah and the Messiah. Brethren, don't ever follow the Jewish traditions and beliefs. So when the false prophet declares himself as Elijah and calls fire from heaven to kill the rebellious, many Jews and unlearned Christians will believe him and follow him to worship the Antichrist. It's no wonder only a remnant of Jews will be saved.

Note: Elijah had already come in the person of John the Baptist.
