Rev 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
After the completion of His dealings with the Israelites and at the end of the Millennium Rule of Jesus, Satan having been released will gather all mankind to rebel against our Lord Jesus and His resurrected saints ruling in Jerusalem.
Rev 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Satan will be defeated and then cast into the eternal Lake of fire, which was created just before the Millennium Rule of Jesus.
Rev 20:11-12a Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened...
Then our Lord Jesus will sit on the Great White Throne to make His final judgment on the rest of mankind.
Rev 20:13-14 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
All those in Hades and also those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be thrown into the Lake of fire.
Rev 21:9-11 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
God will then create the eternal new Heaven and the new Earth with the New Jerusalem. Then the New Jerusalem housing God, the bride of the Lamb (resurrected at the rapture), His Priesthood and all other saints and the angelic host will descend from the new Heaven down to the new Earth.
End of Sixth Day of Creation
For the first time, God can rest from His creation and work in peace and joy dwelling amongst the glorious bride of the Lamb, His Royal priesthood and His faithful people, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. The rebellious Satan, his fallen angel and the wicked, rebellious and disobedient have all been cast into the lake of fire.
The sixth Day of Creation, which covers the creation of the sea creatures, then land creatures, then human beings (with 6 thousand years of history) with His Millennium Rule and then the new Heaven and new Earth, can be as long as hundreds of millions or even billions of years.
So one creation Day can be as long as a billion years, but to a timeless God it is just a second.
No wonder, scientists can discover skeletons of ancient creatures living millions of years ago.
Brethren, science is the discovery of the mysteries of God's creation.
Evolution is not science but an unproven hypothesis of Darwin.
