'Tribulation – 4th - 5th Seal'
M 24:25 "See, I have told you beforehand."
After describing the endtime signs in detail to His disciples, our Lord explained that He had told them all these signs beforehand (Coming WW3, One World Order, building of temple of God, great Tribulation), so that those living in the last days will not be deceived.
Mark 16:10-11 She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.
All the disciples were told by our Lord that He will be crucified and on the third day He will arise. So on the third day when Mary Magdalene told them that she had seen the risen Lord, they did not believe her. It was only after the Lord had appeared to them that they believe.
John 20:29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Our Lord knew that mankind will only believe when they see it with their own eyes including His disciples who had been with Him. Our Lord wants us to walk by faith so that we can overcome the Antichrist deceptions.
John 20:8 Then the other disciple (John), who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.
No wonder, John was referred to as 'the disciple whom our Lord Jesus loved' for he believes Him and every word He has spoken, the sign of complete trust in Him because he truly loves the Lord with all his heart. Brethren, we need to be like John who had set his heart to follow and obey Him without doubting Him and His words.
John 14:29 "And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe."
Our Lord knew that it was difficult then for His disciples to believe His prophecies, and it will be much more difficult for us in the last days. So He carefully taught His disciples giving great detail so that we can use His endtime teachings in Mat 24. Then as each sign is being fulfilled we will begin to believe Him and our faith in His words and prophecies will slowly increase. Then we will begin to look forward to the next sign to be fulfilled and at a later date having complete faith in His prophecies, eagerly await their fulfillments.
2Thess 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
2,000 years ago, the Lord ensured that Paul taught his sheep concerning endtime signs and events, and it is the duty and responsibility of every pastor and church leader to teach his congregation endtime events especially when we are living in the last days, otherwise, can you face God when His sheep are deceived and destroyed for lack of knowledge of endtime events.
